What golfers love
Golfers tell us that The Course is a really nice track with a fun and challenging layout. They love the diversity of the three different 9-hole courses. The course is in excellent shape and the staff is personable and friendly. The greens roll true and the course is always in good shape. Golfers appreciate the excellent value for the money, especially the mid-season rates. Despite some minor issues like tough breathing due to smoke and cart path only restrictions, golfers still consider The Course to be one of the best in the state. The challenging greens and well-maintained course make for an excellent golfing experience, even in the rain. Overall, golfers love playing at The Course and highly recommend it to others.
Good to know
Golfers tell us that there are several areas of the course that need improvement based on their reviews. Some players mentioned that the course was covered in smoke, which made it difficult for those with asthma and allergies to breathe properly. The pricing was also a concern for some, as they felt that the fees were not reasonable considering the condition of the course. They mentioned punched greens and unraked bunkers as specific issues. The cart path-only rule was seen as a rip-off and not justified by some players. The condition of the course itself was called into question, with some players feeling that it wasn't worth the money charged, especially compared to other courses with winter rates. The recovering greens and patchy grass in some areas were mentioned as specific problems. The use of dirty balls from the range was also a concern. Additionally, players found the course difficult to navigate, particularly because it is split into three nine-hole courses. Despite these areas needing improvement, the course staff received high ratings, and the overall challenge and fun of playing the course were appreciated.
