Loop Golf, Inc. ("LoopGolf," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website, applications, and services (the "Services").

By using LoopGolf, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information You Provide

If you create an account or contact us, we may collect:

  • Name and email address
  • Account credentials
  • Payment method details, processed and stored by Stripe — we never store full card numbers
  • Golf preferences, such as saved courses or search settings
  • Anything you send us directly (support emails, course corrections)

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device type, operating system, and browser
  • Usage data such as pages viewed, searches run, and links clicked
  • Approximate location inferred from your IP address
  • Precise location, only if you grant your browser's location permission — used to show tee times near you and prefill search; you can revoke this in your browser at any time

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (including your last known search location), and understand how the Services are used. Disabling them may limit some functionality.

5. Tee Time Data

Tee time availability shown on LoopGolf is aggregated from publicly available booking pages and systems. It describes golf courses, not people — it is not personal information. We do not claim ownership of course data and do not guarantee its accuracy.

6. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and personalize the Services, including showing tee times near you
  • Create and manage your account
  • Process any payments you authorize, via Stripe
  • Send service communications you request, such as confirmations or alerts
  • Improve the Services, measure performance, and develop new features
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, database, payments, analytics), bound to use it only on our behalf
  • A golf course or its booking provider, only as needed if we facilitate a booking or request on your behalf and only with your authorization
  • Authorities or other parties where required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

8. AI Assistants

LoopGolf offers an interface (an MCP server) that lets AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT search live tee time availability. It is read-only and serves only public course availability — it does not receive, collect, or return personal information, and assistant queries are not linked to LoopGolf accounts.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date, and where appropriate, additional notice through the Services.
