What golfers love
Golfers tell us that the staff at this golf course is friendly and welcoming. They appreciate the average conditions for beginning the season, which provide a good practice course. The price and pace of play are also commendable. However, some improvements are needed, such as grading the cart paths, picking up large tree branches, and addressing poor drainage on certain holes. Despite these issues, golfers still find the course enjoyable, particularly for first-time outings. They note that the course is in pretty good shape for February and that playing as a twosome or threesome can be completed in under 3 hours. The layout of the course is well-liked, although some golfers mention that leaves are not adequately cleaned up, making it challenging to find golf balls. Despite this, the course offers a great value for the price. During fall golf, the fairways are well maintained, and the pace of play is excellent. Although the greens could use some work, it is expected for November. Overall, golfers find the course to be of good quality, providing value for the money. While there may be some issues with facility quality and course difficulty, the positive elements make this golf course a favorite among golfers.
Good to know
Golfers tell us that the cart paths need grading, as well as improvement in removing large tree branches and leaves from the course. Poor drainage on some holes was also noted. The leaves on the fairway can make it challenging to find golf balls, especially for individuals with impaired vision. The greens were described as shaggy and recovering from aeration, while some parkland and links-style fairways were more than 75% covered in leaves. It was mentioned that the greens could use some work, although this was expected for the month of November. Some instances of poor quality in the facilities were also reported. Despite the friendly staff, there is room for improvement in certain areas of the course to enhance the overall experience.
