About Foothills Golf Club

Foothills Golf Club is a desert links located in South Phoenix, designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf in 1988. The golf course features four sets of tee markers and is surrounded by the South Mountain foothills. Foothills Golf Club offers a scenic round and challenges golfers of all levels with wide fairways and generous landing areas for smooth swings on tee shots. The closer you get to the greens, the more dangerous the terrain becomes, with 65 tricky bunkers and rocky desert looming beyond the groomed turf. The course's variety of holes provides much of the fun of playing at Foothills Golf Club, including signature holes like the drivable par-4 6th and the par-5 8th with a downhill fairway leading to a green guarded by water. The course also features three holes with lakes and a collection of challenging par-3s. The clubhouse has a pro shop, locker rooms, special event rooms, a theater, restaurant, and patio. The Sunset Grill restaurant offers comfort food and a beautiful mountain view. Overall, Foothills Golf Club promises plenty of enjoyment at a very reasonable price point in South Phoenix.
